These little owls are for one of my bestest friends, Holly, her little boy Nathan is being Baptized this weekend.  Wish I could be there, but my cookies will have to represent!  God Bless Nathan!

Another Cake from last year, the bride, Laurie McWatt-Davis was kind enough to share her photographer's pics with me.  She has now gone on to be a successful wedding coordinator of Circle the Date Events in Yuma, AZ...no wonder, her wedding was impeccable!

Go Speed Racer!

My friend Jenny had me make Go-Kart themed Cookies for a 40th Birthday Party.  A Go-Kart is a highly detailed object with lots of breakable pieces, so I opted to make "accessories" that went along with the sport.

Cookies in Bloom

These Giant Sunflower cookies were made for my friend Dana who then gave them as gifts for all the PTA Board members of my son's school.  The cookies were huge, wouldn't fit in any bag, had to wrap them in cellophane...they are still probably trying to finish eating them!

This was a wedding cake from a few years ago, Courney generously just emailed my the photographer pics.  This was on of my favorites, and it was such a beautiful wedding!

R2

To accompany the Star Wars Cake were these R2D2 Cookies that were hand carved.

The Force

Today I finished up this Star Wars Cake...it was a little tricky for me to come up with a design that would not take me days to construct and timeless hours of intricate detail as many of the star wars props seem to have.  I like cakes to still look like cakes, so this is what I came up with.  And the Luke Skywalker and R2 will be fun for Jackson to play with after the party!

Appreciation!

Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week so I donated 40 Apple Cookies to our teachers at Marshall Elementary.
