Tea For Two!

These Tea for Two cookies shipped out to Yuma for a dear friend's baby shower.  She is having twin girls, so I put their initials on the tea bags.  The design was influenced by the cute invitations she made.  Wish I could have hand delivered them.

Birthday Cake cookies

These cookies have been a work in progress.  Wanted a cookie that would taste like cake.  These are darn close.  Thinking to sandwich them with frosting in between, and then it should be cake!  Nice and soft..you can eat 2 or 3 or 10! I left a batch out while talking to my neighbor, and the puppy at about 1 1/2 dozen..he likes them too!

Tea Time

I have had a set of mini tea cookie cutters forever and have never used them.  I wanted to make samples to see what they would look like, so these are on their way to my favorite tea drinking friend..along with her glasses she left at my house!

So Cool!

In honor of summer, these Popsicle cookies were a gift for a teacher's birthday.

Not so sweet cookies

These are pretty self-explanatory...a party for some recently single woman.  So funny!

Elephant Love

I designed this cake for a little girl who loves Elephants.  Instead of going the jungle themed route, I chose to make it very girly with a little girl elephant perched on top, and a simple #2.

Snack for the road

To round out my busy cookie week, I made some "moving" themed cookies for our dear friends who moved to Virgina this week.  I had made them a batch of San Diego themed cookies earlier in the week (will post soon) for their parents who were in town.  Those quickly disappeared, so I made these for the big car trip cross country.

Touchdown!

These Arizona Cardinals cookies were made and shipped to Yuma for a football themed birthday party for a client's husband.  The Cardinal head was hand-piped onto the helmet (thank you very much).  I am proud how they turned out!

Wedding Blessing

What do you get a couple when you can't make it to their wedding??  My cookies of course!  I made these for my friend Krystin who couldn't make it to a family member's wedding, so I am sending these to them to have the day after the wedding for a post wedding party.  They have strong Irish roots, so I did the Irish Blessing cookies again, just slightly different.

Out of this world!

These Saturn Cookies I made for a friend's little boy's birthday party.  He is a space enthusiast, and his favorite planet is Saturn.  Had to hand cut them..no Saturn cookie cutter on this planet!

So Long, Farewell

These cookies were a custom order from a dear military friend.  Her husband's boss was moving on, and she wanted to throw a surprise going away party for the spouse.  The cookies have parts of an Irish blessing written on them because the woman going away would say the prayer at every spouse's function.  The tags have the whole prayer written on them.
